Ingredients
Blended Scotch Whisky - 2 1/2 oz
Fresh lemon juice - 1/2 oz
Spicy honey-ginger syrup - 1/2 oz
Single Malt Scotch (Islay) - 1/2 oz
Candied ginger with a dash of cayenne - 1 piece
Lagavulin rinse - Rinse the glass
Ice - Cubes

Steps
1. Rinse the rocks glass with Lagavulin and empty out the excess.
2. Add blended Scotch, lemon juice, and spicy honey-ginger syrup to a shaker and fill with ice.
3. Shake well and strain into the Lagavulin-rinsed glass filled with ice.
4. Float the single malt Scotch on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
5. Garnish with a piece of candied ginger sprinkled with cayenne pepper.
