Ingredients

  • Blended Irish Whiskey - 1 1/2 oz
  • Fresh lime juice - 1/4 oz
  • Honey-ginger syrup - 3/4 oz
  • Single Malt Whiskey (Peated) - 1/4 oz
  • Crystallized ginger - 2 pieces
  • Club Soda - Top up
  • Ice - Cubes
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes - Pinch
  • Smoky Lapsang Souchong Tea - 1/4 oz

Steps

  • 1. Infuse Lapsang Souchong tea with blended Irish whiskey by mixing and steeping for 2 minutes.
  • 2. Add Irish whiskey infusion, lime juice, and honey-ginger syrup to a shaker and fill with ice.
  • 3. Shake well and strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  • 4. Float the single malt whiskey on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  • 5. Top with club soda.
  • 6. Garnish with two pieces of crystallized ginger and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
