Mint Julep

Rendering of a Mint Julep Cocktail

Ingredients

Bourbon - 2 oz
Mint leaves - 4-5
Simple syrup - 1/2 oz
Crushed ice - Cup

Glassware

Highball glass or Julep cup

Steps

1. Muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup in the bottom of the glass.
2. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
3. Pour in the bourbon.
4. Stir well until the glass becomes frosty.
5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
